The Administrator account allows full control
of your pc & because of this vulnerability, hackers usually
target the Administrator account first. By having
a password on the Administrator account you will
protect your system from the majority of
ways that hackers can gain access to your computer.
It is best to open your Administrator`s account in safe mode.

Step 1 :

Start in safe mode.

1. Turn your computer on.

2. As the computer starts press and release F8 repeatedly. Windows
safe mode Menu will appear.

3. Use the arrow keys to select the Safe Mode option and press enter.
Microsoft Windows should be selected.

4. Press enter again & after several moments the "Welcome to Windows" title screen
should appears.

5.When the screen that tells you Windows is running in safe mode, click
ok.

6.In the Control Panel window,select User Accounts.In the User Accounts window,
under pick an account to change, click the account you would like to change the password for

7.Under change your password, type a new password.Confirm the new Password.
Do you want to make your files and folders private appears,Select No.Picking yes could
make it impossible to access your important files & folders.

Step 2 :

Disable NetBIOS over TCP/IP.If you dont use AFS, these steps will make your PC almost
invisible to hackers.

1. In the Local Area Connection Properties window, doubleclick Internet Protocol orTCP/IP.

2. In the Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) Properties window, on the General tab, click Advanced

3. In the Advanced TCP/IP Settings window, on the WINS tab select the Disable NetBIOS
over TCP/IP option.

4. Click OK to close the TCP/IP Settings window.

5. Click OK to close the Internet Protocol Properties window.

6. Click OK to close the Local Area Connection Properties window.

If you think you may already be under attack,while in safe mode you should run a deep scan
with your anti virus software.This is the best way to discover whats controlling your pc.Any keyloggers or trojans found will be quarantined within your virus vault & destroyed.If anything was found deep scan again,until nothing is found.Then start up in normal mode & scan again.
Nothing should be found but if there is go back to safe mode (F8) & scan again.
